    Research is constantly evolving and, sometimes the discoveries that are made can be far from our normal preoccupations. The Ruskinn Hypoxia Stations that AWEL is now launching in France come into this category.
    These stations, principally used in research on Cancer and stem cells are the result of a meeting more than 10 years ago between Dr Pousseygur of the University of Nice and Dr Skinn, an English industrialist captivated by the world of research.

    The situation was simple: Dr Pousseygur needed mini containment laboratories (Stations) reproducing the evolution of the environment of a cancerous cell (Hypoxia).
    He had noticed that his research on malignant cells could be disturbed by too high a level of oxygen. To quote Dr Skinn: “Research was being carried out on a sick fish out of water".

    10 years later, Ruskinn enables us to introduce a complete range of Hypoxia Stations of different sizes and features.

    It is not only a question of creating a new product but an action to which we are very sensitive because we are touched in our daily lives, as are many others, by the ravages and disappearances linked to Cancer.
